Premium Audits

We complete workers compensation audits and general liability
audits of all types.

Quality Control

We believe that the "Audit" is the core of our relationship with the client.
That is why it's important to us that all our clients feel confident that all premium
audits are accurate and complete. 

To ensure audit accuracy, our auditors are fully trained and periodically
undergo training classes to maintain a current knowledge of changing rules 
and codes.  In addition, all of our audits are performed in accordance with 
the NCCI and PAAS manuals and industry standards.

When the audit is conducted, a minimum of two sources are used for verification 
of payroll, sales, subcontractors, and etc.., and copies of 941's and State SUI's are 
obtained for future reference if required.

To further establish confidence in our audits, "each" audit is thoroughly 
reviewed by in-house reviewers (management) to verify accuracy, completeness, 
and any major changes. 

Also, we communicate with our clients on unique situations to obtain their thoughts
prior to submitting the audit should certain situations arise.

In addition to our audit quality, our auditors are very professional and 
represent our clients in a friendly respectful manner.  This is one of our key
requirements upon hiring auditors--as Pyramid understands that sometimes the 
auditor is the only contact that the policyholder has with the Insurance Carrier, 
and we want our clients to depend on our auditors to represent them as they 
would themselves.

Client Relationship & Commitment

Pyramid's Management, office staff, and field representatives work towards
a common goal which is to provide the best audit service available.  We know
that in order to do this, we must understand our client's special individual needs 
and requirements, and meet them promptly.  This is why all of us at Pyramid 
strive to develop a long term personal working relationship with our clients that
begins with management, and stems down to the office staff, and to the auditors 
so that we all communicate and work with our clients to obtain their goals.

Time Service

Our time service on full term audits is 45 days, and 30 days for all cancellation 
audits.  However, if an audit is needed ASAP, we can have it completed and back 
in the client's office in a matter of days.  

With our database system, it's easy for our auditors to maintain and manage
their audits by due dates, and progress attempts.  This has been a great asset 
in keeping our time service at a great standing!

Status Reports

We provide status reports on all audits within the first 25 days 
unless the audit has been completed.

The status reports contain data such as:

  • Attempt dates
  • Person contacted
  • Telephone numbers
  • Agent comments
  • Date audit is expected to be completed
  • Comments regarding unsuccessful attempts

 

All status reports are very detailed in description of attempts and 
persons contacted and are very easy to follow.
